About

Hey, I’m Andrew — the guy behind The Fit Manual.

I started this site to share what I’ve learned (and continue to learn) about fitness, health, and living a strong, active life. My journey into fitness began during my time in the military, where staying in shape was, well, sort of mandatory. Hard work, and a little bit of grit can get you pretty far.

That, and an angry drill sergeant waking you up at 0500 does the trick too.

Those experiences taught me the value of discipline, consistency, and showing up for yourself, day after day.

After leaving the military, I wanted to keep that momentum going. But like a lot of people, I realized that real life doesn’t always leave space for hours in the gym or complicated routines.

So I started focusing on what works — bodyweight workouts, simple nutrition habits, and practical strategies that fit into everyday life.

The Fit Manual is my way of passing that on. It’s a place where I share workouts, fitness tips, and thoughts on health — without the fluff, hype, or unrealistic expectations.

I also work with a small team of like-minded folks who help create and contribute to the site, making sure the information we share is both useful and doable.

This site is for anyone who wants to get fit and feel better — whether you’re just starting out, getting back on track, or looking to simplify your approach.

Thanks for stopping by — and if you ever have a question or just want to say hey, feel free to reach out.
